A jail question, a warrant question, a court case, and an open-records request go to different Salem County offices. Use the official source that matches the type of information needed. A roster result describes a custody record, while a court record is the place to follow a case outcome.

Booking records and OPRA requests
For a county-held booking record, photograph, or other disclosable file, use the official Salem County OPRA page and name the record, the person, an approximate date, and the Department of Corrections when known. Warrant and court-record questions
A warrant inquiry is not the same as a jail booking confirmation. For Salem County warrant routing, the Sheriff lists Chief Warrant Officer Kirk Cooksey through Sheriff Enforcement. A person seeking court-side criminal-record information, including older or closed material, can use the Salem County Criminal Records Room or the New Jersey Courts record resources.

The New Jersey Department of Corrections offender locator is for state correctional custody, not every person booked into SCCF. For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. For ICE custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Each system covers a different custody setting.
